Africa's most common wild pig. It's grey coloured body has sparse bristly hairs and a mane of hair along it's neck and back.

The Warthog's mane & thin tail stand erect when it runs away from danger.

The male has two pairs of 'warts' on either side of the head, whilst the females have only one pair. These warts are thought to cushion the blows between the males during fighting.

The female usually have between 1-6 babies.
