One of the most famous game reserves in Africa, Kruger Park is home to a wide range of african creatures including the 'Magnificent seven' - Elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, rhino, cheetah & wild dog.
The reserve is about the size of the country of Isreal - 2,000,000 hectares
The park was named after Paul Kruger on March 26th 1898, who realized the urgent need for a wildlife sanctuary to preserve creatures threatened by man.
